MA 2000

BA (hons) 1996

I have taught widely in several UK schools of architecture, starting in 2002-05 at Cambridge  University as a Visiting Lecturer in the first year studio.

Since 2014 I have been a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Kent and from 2010-2016

I was a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University teaching design primarily in the post-graduate design studio.

Alongside teaching, I have a significant portfolio of research, and was Returned to the Research Excellence Framework in 2014.

I’ve also run workshops and attended reviews in the UK at the Bartlett, the Architectural Association, Sheffield, UCA and East London and further afield in Switzerland, Germany and Colombia.  I’ve also given lectures on our work at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Architecture Foundation, the RIBA the Institute of Contemporary Art.

My own education:

Following my undergraduate degree at Trinity College, Cambridge (1993-96), I completed my Diploma in Architecture at the University of Cambridge in 2000 with Distinction and nomination for the Royal Institute of British Architects Silver Medal for top international student.

I continue to learn a lot in  every project we take on, and am currently becoming a specialist in Building Conservation, attending seminars and workshops at the RIBA, and the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. I intend to qualify as a Conservation Architect in 2017.
